myspace.com How He Loves cover by John Mark McMillan I’ve been asked many times to record a video on how to play this the way I’m playing it, but its a bit tough to play for beginners so I’m trying to figure if I’ll do a video or not… I play it differently than John Mark. I tune down 1/2 step (1 fret down for U newbies) & I play it in drop D. The chords I’m doing in the the beginning are D then my pointer finger @ the 2nd fret of the A string making it a B note, but I still play the part of the D that I was just playing. (watch my fingers in HQ to see what I mean) Then I keep playing the D but play the open A string so its like an A w/ a D chord. Then end in G by fretting the 5th fret of the Low E string… For anyone who wants to take lessons, I have a great way for you to have me in your home to give you private lessons, which I do for students of mine in person here in Chicagoland.
